What should I wear for professional headshots?
For professional headshots, I always recommend wearing something that feels polished, flattering, on-brand for your business and most importantly — like you.
Solid colors usually photograph beautifully, and I typically suggest avoiding anything too busy, overly trendy, or covered in large logos or distracting patterns. Jackets, blazers, structured tops, and simple necklines can all work really well depending on your profession and the look you want to create.
For my Tampa headshot and personal branding clients, I also like to think about where the images will be used. A corporate executive may want something more polished and traditional, while an entrepreneur, realtor, creative professional, or small business owner may want a look that feels more relaxed and personal.
Most importantly, I don’t expect you to figure it all out on your own. I help guide you with wardrobe choices before your session so your clothing works with your coloring, your brand, your body, and the overall feel you want for your professional headshots or personal branding photos.
The goal is simple: you should look professional, confident, approachable, and still completely like yourself.

Hi, I’m Andi Diamond — a Tampa headshot photographer and personal branding photographer specializing in professional headshots, branding photography, and modern portraits for entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, and business owners throughout Tampa Bay.
My job is about much more than simply taking a great photograph. I coach you through the entire experience — from posing and expression to body language and wardrobe — so we can create images that feel confident, authentic, approachable, and unmistakably you.
And if being in front of the camera makes you nervous, you’re definitely not alone.
One of the things my clients tell me most often is that I make the experience feel easy. I’m known for helping even the most camera-shy clients relax, laugh, and feel comfortable in front of my lens. That relaxed experience is what allows me to capture genuine expressions instead of stiff, overly posed photographs.
Before we ever start shooting, I want to understand you, your business, your personality, and how you plan to use your images. Whether you need a polished LinkedIn headshot, updated corporate images for your company website, executive portraits, social media content, or a complete personal branding photography session, we’ll create photographs that strategically represent who you are and how you want your clients, colleagues, and audience to see you.
Over the years, I’ve photographed professionals across virtually every industry, including physicians and medical professionals, attorneys, dentists, CPAs, authors, therapists, fitness professionals and athletes, creatives and stylists, television personalities, local and national celebrities, construction professionals, insurance professionals, real estate agents, entrepreneurs, executives and teams, and small business owners.
Based in Tampa, I work with individuals, companies, and teams throughout Tampa, South Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and the greater Tampa Bay area. Clients also travel from across the country to Tampa specifically to work with me.
Outside the studio, I’m a mom of two — a son at the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and a high school gymnast daughter — and I’ve been married to my husband, Pete, for 25 years. I’m slightly obsessed with my Peloton, will happily travel almost anywhere warm, strongly prefer sunshine over cold weather, and rarely turn down something sweet.
Creatively, my work has also expanded beyond photography. I developed and directed The Naked Truth, a docuseries exploring confidence, body image, personal stories, and the transformative power of boudoir photography. I’m also the host of the podcast Uncut with Andi Diamond, where I have candid conversations about women, confidence, relationships, wellness, business, and life.
At the heart of everything I do is the same goal: helping people feel comfortable enough to show up as themselves.
