Maryangela + Alan….Married on St. Pete Beach

I had a really good feeling about Alan and Maryangela the first time I met them at my studio. It was obvious that they were crazy in love with each other and could not wait to get married. Ahhhh…a wedding photographer’s dream! Beautiful people overflowing with love and adoration for one another! What more could I have asked for? Couple that with beautiful weather out on St. Petersburg Beach and we had all the makings for a perfect wedding day. I met Maryangela at the Tradewinds on St. Petersburg Beach. She was incredibly relaxed, and of course stunning.

Charlie and Nick from Charles Edward Salon helped Maryangela look especially gorgeous.

I love capturing details, and especially when they have extremely important meaning. The image in the upper left is in memory of Maryangela’s father. I know he was smiling down on you, as always. Special thanks to Joseph at Seminole Flowers for the beautiful creations.Gotta love a little (or a lotta!) bling!Special thanks to Weddings On a Whim for setting up the wedding on the beach. Love the details!The wedding finished just after sunset, giving us just enough light to create some beautiful images.The evening wrapped with a delicious dinner at 400 Beach in St. Petersburg, near the Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club and The Pier. Delicious cupcakes were provided by The Cupcake Spot. Maryangela and Alan INSISTED that I take some home with me. OK, twist my arm.I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Key West. Ray + Nadiah’s Wedding Photography Video

I love unveiling a bride and groom’s wedding photography video to them for the first time. I love sitting with them in my studio and just watching them re-live their wedding day as they see it for the first time. That is what I got to do just a bit ago, and seeing the way Ray and Nadiah looked at each other gave me goosebumps:

High School Senior Photography in Tampa Bay!

Hey Class of 2011! Now is the time to get your high school senior portraits created, and now is the time to become a high school senior model rep for Andi Diamond Photography! One of the most popular questions I get for high school senior photography is “Don’t I have to use the photographer my school tells me to?” And the answer is “NO!” You do usually have to get your yearbook photo taken by whomever your school has contracted…but that’s it! You don’t have to pose for…and certainly don’t have to buy any other photos. So if you want something funky, fresh, and modern, give Andi Diamond Photography a shout. Circle of Friends Reunion on St. Petersburg Beach

It is that time of year again- the reunion trip for the Circle of Friends and I cannot wait! Every year we take children with cancer and blood disorders from all around the United States to Wausau, WI for a fun filled winter trip. And every other year we have a reunion trip with the kids from the previous 2 winter trips. This year it will be on St. Petersburg Beach. Pete and I are honored to be a part of this amazing organization for the past 10 years. (I am especially proud of Pete who helped to organized the entire trip this summer!) The kids are beyond amazing and the experience for the adults may be even more rewarding than for the kids. Check out my diary for frequent updates as I am also the camp’s photographer. Ray + Nadiah…Married!

I knew immediately at Ray and Nadiah’s engagement session that their wedding was going to be a blast to photograph. Let’s start with the obvious. These two are simply put…stunning. Their personalities are equally as beautiful. The day began (and finished) at the Westin Harbour Island Hotel. (I have a definite fondness for this hotel as Pete and I got married there 8 years ago.)

Every detail was accounted for, starting with fab custom stationery from Tie That Binds. After Nadiah and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done by Maria Zepeda and Ramona Torres, we headed to St.John’s Episcopal Church in Hyde Park for their beautiful ceremony.After the ceremony, we headed back to the Westin where the party was amazing. Every guest was dressed to the nines and ready to celebrate Ray and Nadiah’s nuptials in style! Jonathan A Cortez provided the most amazing vocal performances. Jackie Ross of Table 6 Productions made sure every detail was in place while Melina Forla of the Westin Harbour Island made sure the night was perfect! (and it was!) Events in Bloom created beautiful decor with their flowers. Inspire Entertainment created a beautiful ambiance with fab lighting (I am such a fan of uplighting!) It is no secret that I am also a big fan of sweets. Ok- a HUGE fan. And I knew the sweets would be abundant at this wedding. You see, Ray works for Ghiraredlli, so the cake (by A Piece of Cake) and the chocolate fountain (by Lous Chocolate Fountains) had some extra yumminess!

I will wrap this up with my favorite image of the evening. I just love how Ray and Nadiah are looking at each other, and I especially love the delicious light!Ray and Nadiah, thank you for choosing Andi Diamond Photography to capture this amazing day in the start of your new lives together! I wish you so much happiness and joy! Have an amazing honeymoon. I can’t wait for you to see all of your wedding photographs! Bun in the Oven

I looked out of the studio and giggled as I saw Trisha and Dan strolling up for their maternity portrait session. Dan had his shirts all neatly folded over his arm and Trisha rolled a huge suitcase behind her. I could only imagine the goodies she had inside for us to photograph her and her beautiful (and oh so tiny) belly in! We all laughed and I assured them that this is what every expecting mom brings to her maternity session (ok, so maybe the suitcase is more an overnight style bag ). I was thrilled to see all of the fun stuff that she pulled out, Dan just laughed and rolled with it. Trisha is a stylist at Salon Lofts in South Tampa and has a definite sense of style. Dan owns Memorabilia Magic on Willow Ave in South Tampa (Pete is so jealous!). Here are some of my faves:I loved photographing your maternity session, Trisha and Dan. I am really looking forward to your newborn session and meeting your baby girl!

Dana+Gary…Engagement Portrait Session in Sarasota

I knew immediately that Dana and I were going to get along. You see, she too is a Gator alumni. (YES!!) So I was more than thrilled to head to St. Armand’s Circle in Sarasota, FL for her and Gary’s lifestyle engagement portrait session (plus it was super fun for me to get a new backdrop outside of Tampa/St. Petersburg). I love really getting to know my clients and being able to capture little tid-bits of their life story. Here is some of Dana and Gary’s story:

Oh Those Baby Blues…

You had me at “Hello”, truly Everett had me at “Hello”. Ok, well he does not say hello yet, so he had me with the adorable little noises he made as soon as he came into the studio for his portrait session. Those eyes! Lock up your daughters- this kid is going to be a heart breaker! Amy and Jordan, enjoy your teasers. I cannot believe how much Everett has changed since his newborn portrait session….but I guess time will do that to a kid!
