Tampa Maternity Photographer for Beverly + Stu

A mommy-to-be client recently contacted me inquiring about maternity portraits. She did not know if she preferred an in-studio maternity session, or an on-location maternity session. I told her they are two very different looks, both fabulous, but it really depends on the style she was wanting to capture. Beverly and Stuart opted for an in-studio session in our South Tampa studio. As you can see, these sexy, sassy images are clearly not something we could have created in the middle of downtown Tampa! An on-location maternity session (like Allison and Domenick’s maternity session (see below), is typically a much more commercial and playful look and feel, while Bev and Stu’s was more intimate.I LOVED the cowboy attire that Beverly brought with them to their session. It was so fun and they rocked it out!Dear Maternity Gods, In my next life, I want to look like THIS when I am pregnant! sigh…. (I bet Pete would not mind looking like Stu in his next life when I am pregnant either! ha!)And you know I have to love a Gator momma-to-be! GO GATORS! Can’t wait to photograph the future little Gator!

Tampa Maternity Photographer for Domenick + Allison

Like most moms-to-be, Allison had alot on her plate and alot on her mind. So I was not too surprised to get a call on a Tuesday asking for a maternity portrait session on location in Tampa when she was going to be having the baby the following Monday! Like I said….she had been busy. This was an especially fun maternity session for a few reasons. I got to meet some fabulously fun new clients who were up for anything I suggested, I got to collaborate with Mo at VHVIDEO.com on a new product line that we will soon be offering, and we had tons of laughs because daddy-to-be is funny man, Fester, from Tampa’s MJ Morning Show on 93.3. Check out some of my faves:I love how Allison is rocking it out in the foreground and Domenick is being….well….Domenick in the background! ha!Allison, you are adorable! Such a precious mom-to-be!We headed to Ybor City to capture these fun images. Kristin and I could not help but laugh as we were photographing these two! And while we did laugh alot, there were very special tender moments as well, since Allison and Domenick have been waiting for their little girl for a long time.We added some fun baby books to really customize this maternity session.I cannot wait to meet your baby girl, Domenick and Allison and to capture her newborn images. Sophia and Vicky’s Couture Album

One of the most impressive ways to display your custom portraiture is with a couture coffee table album from Andi Diamond Photography. I designed Vicky and Sophia’s 10×10 couture album from their on-location family portrait session in downtown Tampa. I have been photographing Sophia since she was a newborn, actually since her mommy was pregnant with her! It is so beautiful for me to be able to see her grow and become a little girl. On a side note, we have a couple great events coming up. The Tampa Junior League’s Holiday Gift Market starts Friday, November 5 and runs through Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the Florida State Fairgrounds. Every year the show continues to grown with hundreds of fab vendors! Hope you can make it out! Also, on Saturday, November 6 in Hyde Park, Fit Kids Playground is from 9am-noon. Bun in the Oven – Tampa Maternity Photos

I looked out of the studio and giggled as I saw Trisha and Dan strolling up for their maternity portrait session. Dan had his shirts all neatly folded over his arm and Trisha rolled a huge suitcase behind her. I could only imagine the goodies she had inside for us to photograph her and her beautiful (and oh so tiny) belly in! We all laughed and I assured them that this is what every expecting mom brings to her maternity session (ok, so maybe the suitcase is more an overnight style bag ). I was thrilled to see all of the fun stuff that she pulled out, Dan just laughed and rolled with it. Trisha is a stylist at Salon Lofts in South Tampa and has a definite sense of style. Dan owns Memorabilia Magic on Willow Ave in South Tampa (Pete is so jealous!). Here are some of my faves:I loved photographing your maternity session, Trisha and Dan. I am really looking forward to your newborn session and meeting your baby girl!

Tampa Maternity Photos of Jennifer + Bill!

Maternity portraits are among my favorite types of portraits to create. So often the mommies-to-be feel less than fabulous, and it is up to me to help them feel beautiful and celebrate their curves. I loved doing this with Jennifer and Bill. They are expecting their first baby, and are overwhelmed with joy and excitement! Funny side note….I consider myself to be pretty tall (about 5’9″ on a good day), but Jen and Bill and very tall! My studio ceiling is pitched but I kept catching it into my frame with many of my shots. Bill told me a funny story that I just had to share. While volunteering at a local elementary school, he overheard some young children talking as they walked past him. One said to the other “Is he a GIANT??”. HA! Out of the mouths of babes! Here is one more of the “giants” with me shooting from a stool.Can’t wait to photograph your baby girl, Jennifer and Bill! So happy for you!! Andi
