Dana+Gary…Engagement Portrait Session in Sarasota

I knew immediately that Dana and I were going to get along.  You see, she too is a Gator alumni.  (YES!!)  So I was more than thrilled to head to St. Armand’s Circle in Sarasota, FL for her and Gary’s lifestyle engagement portrait session (plus it was super fun for me to get a new backdrop outside of Tampa/St. Petersburg).  I love really getting to know my clients and being able to capture little tid-bits of their life story.  Here is some of Dana and Gary’s story:

I loved photographing your engagement portraits for you, Dana and Gary.  I had a blast and definitely laughed alot!  The wedding will be here before you know it (and Dana- Gary will be home before you know it, too!  Gary- good luck on your rotation!)

Amber+David…Engaged! (Tampa Engagement Photography)

Amber and David make me smile.  Maybe because I can tell that they make each other smile so much.  And isn’t that what love and marriage are all about?!  I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this fall- I know it will be as fun as they are!  I wanted to make sure to get some teasers up for them asap, but I have so many more to share.  I just have a feeling Amber (and her mom, Diane, of D’ Darling Designs) are about to pop with excitement, so I wanted to give them a little something to look at over the weekend.Amber, you are so beautiful it is ridiculous!  David, love the way you rock it out.  So happy to be able to capture your special day for you!  :) A

Camie + William…Engaged! (Tampa Engagement/Wedding Photographer)

My first meeting with Camie was online.  You see, her and William live in Ohio and they found me online in their quest to secure a wedding photographer for their St. Petersburg Beach wedding in April.  Our first official in-person meeting was at their recent engagement session.  I adored them even more after meeting them and getting to know them and their love story.  And their story is quite sweet.  They had actually known each other for ten years before they got engaged.  The majority of those years were spent as friends.  They both knew something was there- but the timing was never right.  Then William (affectionately dubbed “Bubba” by his friends and loved ones) joined the service, and again the timing was not right.  But during the past couple years, the stars aligned and their paths headed in the same direction- and now a wedding will soon follow!tampa-st-petersburg-engagement-wedding-photographytampa-st-petersburg-engagement-wedding-photography-1tampa-st-petersburg-engagement-wedding-photography-3I have a feeling that Bubba keeps Camie laughing ALOT!  He rocked a few “Blue Steele”  poses all on his own- it was hilarious!  I love this collage of images:tampa-st-petersburg-engagement-wedding-photography-4tampa-st-petersburg-engagement-wedding-photography-21I loved photographing you and capturing this special time in your lives, Camie and William.  I am really looking forward to your wedding day- and then your trash the dress session (keep your eyes peeled to my diary for those images!)  Stay warm in Ohio and I will see you in April!  :) Andi

Ray + Nadiah….Engaged! (Tampa/St. Petersburg engagement photography)

You know that feeling you get when you are around two people who absolutely adore each other? Well, you cannot help but feel that warm, mushy feeling when you are around Nadiah and Ray. They are completely “smitten” with each other- and I am the lucky one who gets to capture their love at their engagement session and at their upcoming wedding in July! I LOVE my job! I LOVE engagement sessions, too. It gives me the chance to get to know my clients before their “big day”- kind of like a dress rehearsal.  It allows them to get in front of my camera and play, and quite honestly- to get comfortable with the idea of being photographed (yes, I realize that not everyone LOVES being in front of the camera like I do, ha! I realize it can be quite intimidating, so I try to make it as fun and carefree as possible- often making myself look like a boob in the process, but oh well!). Here are just a few of my faves from Ray and Nadiah’s engagement session.  Merry Christmas Ray and Nadiah- and thanks for the chocolates (Ray works for Ghirardelli and dropped off a little treat for me the other day, and I am a chocolate freak!  I have the best clients!!)tampa-engagement-photography-71tampa-engagement-photographytampa-engagement-photography-41tampa-engagement-photography-3tampa-engagement-photography-51tampa-engagement-photography-2tampa-engagement-photography-82tampa-engagement-photography-62
