Family Fun in Photos – Downtown Tampa Family Portrait Session

I am quite a bit behind on my diary entries (I tend to be a bit better on Facebook…too much viral marketing to keep up with now-a-days…..do I sound like my mother back in the days when CD’s came out??!) Anywho, I wanted to start back on the blogging train with one of my favorite shoots of the summer so far. The F family could not have been more enjoyable to photograph. We had their family portrait session in downtown Tampa. The kids completely rocked it out complete with tutu’s, Bono sunglasses, guitar, and all! I cannot wait to see the canvas cluster that we designed from this portrait session (so much so that I got a set for the studio as well!). ENJOY F family- I LOVED creating this for you!!

Camie+William Married! – Clearwater Wedding Photos

I first met Camie and William (or Bubba as he is called by loved ones) when Camie had e-mailed me about her Clearwater Beach wedding last year. Her e-mail made me smile. I could tell she was a straight-from-the-hip type of shooter. My kinda’ girl (as I have the same tendencies!). We first met in person when they came down from Ohio for their engagement photo session (as seen here). I could tell I was going to adore them both. So easy going… the laid back yet got-it-together type. (the type I WISH I was and try hard to pretend to be!) So super relaxed that not too much rattles them (oh….how I only wish!) Camie did not even flinch when I took off with her wedding dress and a hammer down to the water! Here are a few teasers from their fab wedding on Clearwater Beach. And she did not even blink when I took their rings with me, either!

Work it, Blue Steel……ha!I adore Camie’s laugh!Keep your eyes peeled to the blog next week for Camie and Bubba’s Trash the Dress session. I have loved getting to know you both and I was thrilled I got to be a part of such a wonderful time in your lives, Camie and Bubba! I hope you had a blast in Key West (so jealous!) I have really enjoyed all of our time together!

Tampa Newborn Photos – Meet Liam and His Big Brother Christian

I love photographing newborns. I love the folds of their little bodies. I love how tender and sweet their skin is. I especially love capturing the relationship between the baby and his family, especially when he has an older sibling. Take a peak at Liam and Christian’s slideshow, and you will see why I love my job so much! This melts me….

Amber and David make me smile. Maybe because I can tell that they make each other smile so much. And isn’t that what love and marriage are all about?! I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this fall- I know it will be as fun as they are! I wanted to make sure to get some teasers up for them asap, but I have so many more to share. Tampa Family Photos – The D. Family Just Grew…by 4 Feet

Meet Max and Ellen. The precious duo recently entered the D. family, joining their “big” sister Cate (who is all of 19 months old!) Through the beauty of Facebook, I reconnected with Jacqui, an old friend from high school in South Florida, who works with Scott- Max and Ellen’s daddy. Jacqui connected me with the D. family and the rest is history. I immediately connected with Tara and felt like I had known her for years. I know it is just a brief amount of time that I spend capturing these images for my clients, but for me….I truly love getting to know my clients, hearing their stories, and becoming friends. I love meeting their families and capturing generational images- like this one of Tara, her mom, and the twins:And this capture makes my heart sing. Oh, how they love each other now (just as I am sure they will when they are 13!)Wonderful to get to know you, Tara. I am truly looking forward to capturing more artwork of your family as it continues to grow and change!

Tampa Newborn Photos – Oh What Fun They Will Have…

when these two brothers are old enough to really play together. Right now, Oliver is interested in him, but more interested in having mommy and daddy to himself. As to be expected when you are only one and a new baby brother comes into the picture, right? I first met the K. family at Stephanie and Paul’s maternity shoot for Oliver- which was not that long ago- ha! And now they are blessed to welcome Nolan into their lives (to the possible chagrin of Oliver). But look out ladies- I can already tell these two are going to be heart breakers, especially with those beautiful eyes!Congrats Stephanie, Paul, and Oliver. I am so happy to be able to capture these precious moments in your life. I hope you are able to get some sleep in the next few weeks.
