My job is so special to me. I get to capture moments for my clients. Moments that are so brief that if you blink your eyes, the moment is gone. Moments that are so treasured that you wish you could hold on to them forever. This is just one of the reasons that I love labor and delivery (birth photography). That moment is so incredible, so intimate. I was fortunate enough to be able to capture this moment for Melissa and Robbie with the birth of their first son, Trimble…and now with their second son- Graham!
Just to give a little history here- the H. family has been with me since the very beginning of Andi Diamond Photography. I spoke with Melissa the day before she was due to be induced and she told me the doctor re-scheduled for the following week. (Oh good, I thought. My day is slammed tomorrow! ha!) Sure enough- at 2:45am I got a text that her water broke- so off to the hospital I went! It is truly awe-inspiring to see a new life come into the world- and I am thankful for the trust the H. family has in me! So without sharing too many of the private details, here are just a few images that tell part of the story of Graham’s entry into the world!
CONGRATS H. family! I am blessed to be a part of your miracle and thrilled to see your family grow! Looking forward to Graham’s newborn session. I hope you are getting some sleep!
