I feel like I was just standing in my driveway (though was 9 months ago already) when Vicky said, “I took the test…..and I passed”. YIPPEE! The test of course was no ordinary math test. It was the test telling us that the K. family would soon be getting a new addition, and that Logan would be a big brother. It seemed like just a couple weeks ago that we were creating Vicky’s maternity portraits (see here). And much to our surprise, Laynie made her entrance into the world a bit early, but is now home and doing wonderfully!I am so happy that Layne is doing so well. She is so beautiful and kissable! Ethan asks about her first thing every morning (hummm…is he hinting something??) and loves her so much- as do Pete and I! We could not be more thrilled to be such a special part of your lives. Love you tons, V, Ala, Logie, and Laynie! xoxo

I love seeing the transformation of my maternity portrait clients as they turn into mommies. They walk into my studio as entirely new people- glowing even more than before (OK, so they may not feel “glowing” just a few days after delivering their baby…but I can see the shine! ha!)
