Meet the Junior Editor of UC Tampa Magazine (Tampa Newborn/Baby Photographer)

Little Miss Marlowe (or Mili-peed as her parents lovingly call her) may be destined for a future as a writer.  He daddy is the editor in chief of UC Tampa Magazine.  And with a name like Marlowe, she is definitely destined for fame!  Her mommy absolutely glowed at her maternity portrait session, but now she radiates!  There is something amazing about becoming a parent that just makes you smile from the inside out- as Jay and Heather will attest to!tampa-newborn-baby-photographytampa-newborn-baby-photography-2tampa-newborn-baby-photography-1tampa-newborn-baby-photography-4This image just melts me:tampa-newborn-baby-photography-3Congrats Heather and Jay!  I am thrilled to be able to capture this special time in your lives for you!

On a side note, we are headed to New Orleans to watch the Gators win the Sugar Bowl.  I will be so sad to see my “boyfriend” Tim Tewbow at his last game (and possibly Urban, too!).  Here’s hoping we go out with a HUGE W!  Enjoy your New Year’s, gang!

Ella…can I have your closet? (Tampa Children’s Photographer)

Seriously…I am jealous of a 1 year old’s closet!  Is that right?  I am sure it is not, but this little girl has a wardrobe to die for (and considering all I wanted to Christmas was an entire new wardrobe, I tried to figure out how to squeeze my adult body into her fab digs!  Needles to say, that did not exactly work, nor did I get a whole new wardrobe, but I did get some stylish threads if I do say so myself…but I digress…)  I was so honored that Ella’s mommy, Holly, drove to South Tampa from Wesley Chapel to have her portraits created.  (Thanks, Holly!).  Here are just a few of my faves- and just in time for Ella’s 1 year birthday- Happy Birthday, Ella!tampa-childrens-photographertampa-childrens-photographer-1tampa-childrens-photographer-2Loved our portrait session, Ella and Holly!  Can’t wait for you to see the rest.

On a side note, the studio will be closed Wednesday, December 30 through Sunday, January 3.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Looking forward to an amazing 2010!

Ray + Nadiah….Engaged! (Tampa/St. Petersburg engagement photography)

You know that feeling you get when you are around two people who absolutely adore each other? Well, you cannot help but feel that warm, mushy feeling when you are around Nadiah and Ray. They are completely “smitten” with each other- and I am the lucky one who gets to capture their love at their engagement session and at their upcoming wedding in July! I LOVE my job! I LOVE engagement sessions, too. It gives me the chance to get to know my clients before their “big day”- kind of like a dress rehearsal.  It allows them to get in front of my camera and play, and quite honestly- to get comfortable with the idea of being photographed (yes, I realize that not everyone LOVES being in front of the camera like I do, ha! I realize it can be quite intimidating, so I try to make it as fun and carefree as possible- often making myself look like a boob in the process, but oh well!). Here are just a few of my faves from Ray and Nadiah’s engagement session.  Merry Christmas Ray and Nadiah- and thanks for the chocolates (Ray works for Ghirardelli and dropped off a little treat for me the other day, and I am a chocolate freak!  I have the best clients!!)tampa-engagement-photography-71tampa-engagement-photographytampa-engagement-photography-41tampa-engagement-photography-3tampa-engagement-photography-51tampa-engagement-photography-2tampa-engagement-photography-82tampa-engagement-photography-62

Happy Holidays from Andi Diamond Photography!

As I wrap up  all of the holidays orders for 2009, I wanted to share a few of the very special Christmas/holiday cards that I was able to create for my amazing clients this year! It was a fun, busy, and  successful holiday season for Andi Diamond Photography, and I owe it all to my FAB clients!  Thank you for putting your trust in me and allowing me to capture your art!   I am already booking holiday sessions for 2010 (which I highly recommend you grab a session now to ensure you get the day/time you want.  The weather played a nasty role in canceling/rescheduling some on-location sessions this year, so booking ahead of time will give you the flexibility to reschedule should you need it….and it will help me get to bed before 3am.  HA!).  The studio will be closed Dec 23-27 and Dec 30-Jan 5.  See you in 2010!

Tricia + Scott…Married (Tampa Wedding Photography)

It was supposed to be a big, elaborate event.  All of their friends and family, all the formality of a traditional wedding.  But instead, Tricia and Scott opted to elope, to Napa.  Just the two of them, in a private, intimate ceremony to be shared together.  Of course, the family would not let them get away without a celebration.  So in that small, intimate manner, they celebrated at Tricia’s uncle’s home in Ocklawaha, Florida  just south of Ocala.  I must admit, I had never heard of this city!  But it is so quaint and beautiful.  You get the feeling that everyone knows everyone, just like a large extended family.  The reception site was hosted at a home that sat on an incredible lake.  You could actually see millions of stars at night.  Here are just a few of my faves from Tricia and Scott’s special day!tampa-wedding-photography-11tampa-wedding-photography-3a1tampa-wedding-photography-61tampa-wedding-photography-51tampa-wedding-photography-21tampa-wedding-photography-31So thrilled that I was able to capture these memories for you Tricia and Scott!  Can’t wait for our Trash the Dress session (this is going to be like none other….keep your eyes peeled!  We have an amazing location!)  I wish you all the love and happiness in the world!  xo  Andi
