Meet Evan and his mommy, Dawn. Evan just turned one- and I am sure that his parents are amazed at how fast that first year flew by! (Ethan’s first year was gone in the blink of an eye for me!) They go through such amazing changes. It was truly a pleasure to work with you both! Thanks for letting me capture this special time for you! (Sorry it took me a bit to get these up! I am up to my ears right now with holiday sessions/orders. So here are a couple extras! Thanks for your patience!)

I am laughing as I write this diary entry because (as Catherine will attest to), we spent the first 15 minutes or so of this session drying off Catherine! ha! And she was just as cool as a cucumber. I guess when you are a resident, you have seen it all- so your own child’s “stuff” does not really bother you at all. Wilson was no exception to my #1 rule of newborn sessions…prepare to get wet! I truly have so many favorites from this session, it was hard to pick just a few! But here goes! Both mommy and baby are simply beautiful (and with skin like Catherine’s, is it any wonder why she is going into dermatology??!!)

and everything nice! That’s what twins are made of! And I bet Avery and Nathan’s mommy and daddy will agree. I am also willing to bet that these babies take turns with the sugar and spice thing- ha! Avery and Nathan are 6 months old and just as cute and sweet as they can be! Here are just a few “teasers” because I know their mommy is about to jump out of her skin with excitement for our ordering session on Friday. Enjoy Eli and Kris!
I just love this capture- I feel like it screams their personalities. Nathan with his boyish grin squished into the blanket and Avery….just laying so sweetly and innocently on her brother; like she is saying “I love you brother!”.
I am very honored P. family to be the photographer to capture your first portrait session ever! It truly means alot. I look forward to watching the kids grow!
So maybe I am the only photographer out there that feels this way…but photographing 2 and 3 years can be tricky (and I say this as the mother of a 2 year old!) They have their own little personalities emerging, and quite often that does not coincide with sitting still for even one minute! But not Raffaela! This adorable little peanut was picture ready the minute I walked into her house- and full of free hugs! My heart melted! Here are just a few of my favorites from our session- which included her Grandma who was visiting from Italy!
On a side note, I really enjoy getting the opportunity to capture families when they are visiting with each other from out of town. It really is such a great idea to include grandparents, older siblings, etc. And the holidays have kept me hopping with family sessions with clients doing just that! I love, love it! Thanks R. family for letting me capture these moments for you!
